Privacy Policy

Memo (“we”, “us”) is operated by Sintetico Inc. We take your privacy seriously because our users are acquisitions analysts handling confidential offering materials. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.
What we collect
- Account data: name, company, phone number, email address, and a hashed password (we never store the plain password).
- Your uploaded CIMs: PDF files you upload to analyze.
- Analysis results: the structured extraction, memo, diligence checklist, and LOI we generate from each CIM, stored against your account so you can retrieve past work.
- Service metadata: the number of analyses you’ve run, their timestamps, and technical logs (request IDs, IP addresses) needed to operate and secure the service.
How we use it
- To run the analysis pipeline and return results to you.
- To authenticate you, enforce usage limits, and secure your account.
- To send transactional email (account verification, password reset, billing notices, and notifications about your own analyses).
- To send product updates and occasional offers, but only if you opted in during signup or in your account settings. Every marketing email includes a one-click unsubscribe, and opting out does not affect transactional messages you still need to receive.
- To improve the product - in aggregate, never per-account.
We do not sell your data. We do not use your uploaded CIMs or generated outputs to train AI models.
Third parties we use
To operate the service, we share specific data with these sub-processors:
- Anthropic (AI) - your CIM is sent to Anthropic’s Claude API to extract data and generate the memo, DD list, and LOI. Anthropic’s enterprise policies apply to that processing.
- Railway (hosting) - our application and database run on Railway infrastructure.
- Resend (email) - verification and password-reset emails are delivered via Resend.
- Stripe (billing) - when paid plans launch, card-payment data is handled directly by Stripe; Memo never sees full card numbers.
Retention
We keep your account data and analyses for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account from Settings, every associated record - user, saved analyses, session tokens - is removed permanently from our database.
Your rights
You can view and update your account information, change your password, and delete your account at any time from the Settings page. For any other request (export, access, correction), email info@memoanalyst.ai from your account email and we’ll respond within five business days.
Security
- All traffic is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+).
- Data at rest on Railway is encrypted by the provider.
- Passwords are hashed with bcrypt at 12 rounds.
- Access to production systems is restricted to authorized Sintetico Inc. personnel.
Cookies
We use a single first-party session cookie to keep you logged in (signed JWT, 7-day expiry). We do not use third-party tracking cookies or ad pixels.
Changes
If we make material changes to this policy, we’ll notify active users by email. Continued use of Memo after an update means you accept the revised policy.
